Never Hide

The NEVER HIDE project is a brainchild kept in the drawer for many years by Luca Bonvini, by summer of 2016 the Project came to life, having found the musicians that best fit with the project version. Thanks to Luca's music prolificacy that endowed the Band with a lot of material to work on, they started swiftly to produce one song after the other in a typical 90's influenced grunge sound, also giving to the fact that all the components shared the same musical background both as listener and as players. After only 4 months from the beginning, Never Hide had its first live show in Milan – Cascina Monluè, made by 7 unpublished tracks. Few additional live shows, always performed in Milan city area, then things got sensibly changed during the beginning of 2017, when the band finally found out its personal style, achieving the definitive voice and frontman, recognizable in Pietro Mercurio. A couple of months later, bacame a part of the band Roberto Conti, as bass guitar player. Then is the new powerful formation that gave life to the first and namesake album during the late spring of 2017. The album “Never Hide” is composed by 9 tracks, recorded in 4 weeks. 8 tracks have been recorder with Albero “Skizzo” Bonardi, experienced mastering engineer (several cooperation with important artists, like Eros Ramazzotti); while the single “Demons” has been recorded with Mr Oliviero “Olly” Riva; producer and experienced rock guitar player (Shandon, the Fire). The recording approach is deliberately focused on the 90’s sound, as the band strongly wanted, based on the real grunge sound as it has exactly born, in the meantime trying to give it a modern vision. From December 2017, the complete album is available on the net, reachable through all the main platforms (Spotify, Itunes, Deezer, Youtube, etc..). During the same period, the drummer Giovanni Lisanti, as well as the new rhythm guitar player, Davide Di Bella, became definitely part of the band. January 2018 announced the first video shooting, joint to the single “Demons”, available on Youtube within the end of the same month; as it happened 1 month later with the track “Money”; both tracks are inside the first album. Actually, the lineup counts more than 20 unpublished songs, that joint to the recorded ones, have been performed in more than 30 Italian live clubs. Looking at the calendar, 2018 shows already 16 live dates on all over north of Italy. The band is actually focused on the second coming album, planned to be recorded within the end of the year.
